This is an online, Zoom workshop.

Painting with natural inks has its own rules and techniques. Which is different from synthetic colors lessons.

In this workshop we create simple inks from Hibiscus, Turmeric, Saffron and Safflower, try different modifiers and binders to change the flow and texture of the colors.

In the second part we learn different painting techniques with these inks and paint on paper.

After the workshop, you will receive the homework list together with recording, references, samples.

In the follow up session which will be the day after the workshop, we will go over works and questions.

The  dried plants, spices, mordants, and binders needed for this workshop will be mailed if you don't have them. Check Starter Kit.

Please Note: This is not a repeat of the previous workshops "Painting with Tea, Saffron and Beyond" or "Introduction to Painting with Turmeric". If you passed those workshops this will be the continuation and if not, I will review the process quickly and move to the using binders and painting techniques and you can easily follow the process.
